congregational health services
St. Francis CARES (Congregational Assistance with Resources and Services) is an innovative way to connect congregations with community, social, and hospital services that promote a healthy and whole congregation. St. Francis CARES is made up of diverse congregations from Greenville County. We work with each congregation to create a unique program and services that will benefit the parish.
how we can assist your congregation
St. Francis CARES will help your congregations find and/or advocate for the resources and educational services needed for your congregation. We can provide:
- Health Kiosk
- Health Bulletin Board
- Newsletters
- CPR/First Aid Training
- Health Related Events
- Seasonal Flu Shots
- Chronic Health Education (Diabetes and Heart Disease)
- Education about Sports Medicine, Hospice Care, Cardiac Services, Women Services, Infection Control, and Faith Community Nursing
In addition, St. Francis CARES hosts events throughout the year that focus on the health and wholeness of our community. These events are free and open to any congregation in Greenville County.
If your congregation has or would like to establish a faith community nursing program (parish nurse) and/or a congregational health ministry team, these events are a great way to get information, find out about services and programs in the community, and find out what other congregations are doing to promote a healthy and whole congregation.
